Nancy Takes Tea: The Nancy Drew Mystery book club meets Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Beehive Tea Room, 12 W. Broadway (300 South), Salt Lake City. Tickets are $8, including lunch, available at Sam Weller's Bookstore, 254 S. Main St., Salt Lake City. Mmmmm ... the Beehive apparently has fine quality loose-leaf teas, Chai, hot chocolate, French Press coffee, tea lattes and bubble teas, and frappes and smoothies as well as soup, sandwiches, salads, sweet treats and free wireless. Eh? Bubble tea? I had to wikipedia this and learned that bubble tea is "a tea beverage with tapioca balls mixed in. The Chinese name for bubble tea translates to 'Pearl milk tea'. When tea is shaken, a thin layer of bubbles forms on the surface. Because of the foaming process, any tea that is shaken during preparation can be called bubble tea." Read more ...
